A historic colonial home is adapted to a modern family.
This was a two-phase project for a family of five who first sought to remodel and then later add an addition to their charming two-story home. Seeking to maintain and enhance the character of the home -as opposed to overpowering it- the addition added a spare bedroom, library, and screen porch on the first floor as well as a master bath, closet, and laundry onto the second. Timber & Stone provided architectural services on both phases. The addition was built by Kelley Construction.
